How often do I have to change the screws on my screen enclosure?

On screen enclosures with regular zinc fasteners, which most companies use, we recommend you replace screws with Nylo-Tec & Pro-Tect 6-8 years from installation date, to prevent rust and provide long term strength and durability.

How do I get rid of the mold, yellow paint stains, and the fading look on my screen enclosure?

You can clean and remove mold and stains with the use of the right metal cleaner and polish, microfiber towels, and the proper equipment that will reach every corner of your screen enclosure. For more information please visit our Screen Enclosure Detailed Cleaning page.

Why is my screen panel loose?

If it is the screen door, most of the time it is due to constant pushing against the screen while opening the door, or improper installation. If it is a roof or side screen panel, it is either due to many years of high wind damage, or improper installation.

Why did my screen rip along the side?

After many years of deterioration and high winds, the fiberglass screen that most companies install on enclosures becomes brittle and tends to rip along the side, requiring replacement every 3 to 5 years. For 3 times the strength and durability, we recommend you consider using Polyester Screen (10yr warranty). For more information please visit our Screen Repair page.
